Product description

Published context, clearly separated from lot claims.

A technical catalog should make the chemical record, relevant experimental literature and product-specific documentation independently reviewable.

KPV corresponds to residues 11–13 of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). Published research has examined this tripeptide in inflammatory, antimicrobial and neuroinflammation model systems.

In one in-vitro study, 1 µM KPV produced bactericidal activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Separate mouse studies evaluated colonic inflammation and experimental traumatic brain injury. These findings are model specific and do not establish clinical benefit.

Selected published findings

  • Investigated for antibacterial activity against S. aureus in vitro.
  • Evaluated in murine colitis and experimental traumatic-brain-injury models.
  • Described in the literature as an α-MSH C-terminal tripeptide fragment.
