Research context
Published research & product context
Published literature is presented separately from lot-specific identity, purity and analytical results.
BPC-157 is a pentadecapeptide described in published literature as a fragment associated with body protection compound. Research has examined the peptide in cell-migration, cytoskeletal and multiple non-clinical model systems.
In primary rat tendon fibroblasts, 2 µg/mL BPC-157 was reported to increase cell migration and F-actin formation. Other cited studies evaluated inflammatory and gastric-lesion endpoints in rodents. These findings are preclinical and do not establish human safety or efficacy.
Selected published findings
- Increased migration and F-actin formation in primary rat tendon fibroblasts in a published in-vitro study.
- Was evaluated in rodent models involving inflammatory and gastric-lesion endpoints.

Research procurement FAQ
Plain answers about research-use boundaries, documentation, accounts, and ordering. Not medical or clinical guidance.
What is this product record for?
BPC-157 is presented as a research catalog record with identity, format, pack options, specification language, and lot-documentation pathways for qualified laboratory procurement. It is not a consumer or clinical product.
How do I order this item?
Open the product record, choose the pack option, and check out as a guest (no account needed) or signed in. If the item is quotation-only (bulk API or custom project), use the quotation pathway instead of standard cart checkout.
What does “research use only” mean?
Research use only (RUO) means these materials are intended for legitimate non-clinical laboratory investigation. They are not offered for human or animal administration, compounding, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or consumer use.
Do I need an account to browse or buy?
No. Guest checkout is open: you can browse the catalog and order without creating an account. Subscribe & Save orders get an account created automatically so you can manage or cancel the subscription. Lot documentation stays tied to every order either way.
What documentation accompanies a research material?
Lot-level documentation may include a Certificate of Analysis (COA), identity/purity method context, and related analytical records. Always defer to the approved lot record and material specification for the specific shipment.
How is purity described?
Purity statements identify the analytical method (for example RP-HPLC) and defer to the released lot result and any molecule-specific specification. Public copy never replaces the lot COA.
How does shipping work for research materials?
Shipping follows the carrier and packaging appropriate for the material specification. Inspect shipments promptly and contact support with the order number, catalog number, and lot if anything looks incorrect. Unauthorized returns of research materials are not accepted.
Does Simple Life Science provide dosing or medical guidance?
No. We do not provide dosing, administration, medical advice, patient selection, or clinical-use instructions. Website content and technical support stay within laboratory research context.
Need a current record?
Documentation before decision-making.
Reference BPC-PW and the applicable lot when contacting technical support. Published files support evaluation but do not replace the approved lot COA or material specification.
